Director
Kevin is the Owner-Director of NQAV and has been the business’ owner since 2009. Under the direction of Kevin, the business has grown and now operates across Queensland from its head office in Townsville. NQAV also has an office in Cairns to service the Far North that he regularly travels to. His passion and dedication are evident as a leading expert in designing, supplying and installing commercial Audio Visual & Technology systems of all sizes. His team is renowned for creating unique, state-of-the-art audio, visual and technology solutions for businesses across the commercial sector. His hard work and vast industry knowledge base have seen him as the recipient of numerous industry awards, including the Australian Institute of Management 30 Under 30. He was also the Finalist for the Townsville Chamber Young Business Achievement Award in 2012. Kevin is on the Townsville Chamber Board and was the Chair of the Young Chamber Committee for two years. He has also previously been a Board member of Coast to Country Housing Company and a member of the Rotary Club of Townsville Sunrise.

General Manager
General Manager of Townsville Paul Bow has worked with NQAV for over two years and enjoys the variety each day brings, along with the challenges of working with technology and customers. He is big on problem solving and manages the technical staff schedules as well as overseeing the jobs they complete alongside their foreman. When not working hard to keep the business smoothly running Paul can be found camping, fishing, and painting. His passion for mentoring young people within the community stems from completing an MBA at Canberra University – majoring in Leadership and Innovation.

Initially from the central coast of NSW, Elise lived in Sydney before moving to Townsville for a sea change. Since living in Townsville, Elise has loved camping and exploring the area. Time flies when you have fun, and Elise has worked for over three years with the energetic team at NQAV and believes the best part of the job is the camaraderie with all her work colleagues and the varied job role. Buying her home has led to weekends full of rewarding reno work.

Development Manager Stephen lives and breathes all things audio visual and has worked on some incredible jobs, including being a Site Manager for live music and concerts. So, it’s no surprise that when Stephen isn’t perfecting the audio visual and technology services for NQAV, he is rocking out on his Bass and Guitar, traveling the globe, and helping those in need. From custom home theatres and cinema systems to complete home automation, Stephen is passionate about ensuring clients get exactly what they want regardless of where they live.

Not afraid to call himself a nerd, Technical Design and Sales Manager Darryl Byrne, originally from Tasmania has been calling North Queensland home since 2003. The climate and lifestyle are what kept Darryl here and has been working with NQAV for 15 years and still loves his job. From the get go he was dedicated worker and was awarded Apprentice of the Year.
The variety of work, the amazing team and happy clients makes Darryl’s day. On the weekend he can be found outdoors playing soccer, sailing, camping or fishing.
